Day 3 Filming Leake Street

Having to record more footage at our first location, we headed back to Leake Street to get more shots according to the rest of the storyboard. This time we were able to stay around longer and get better lighting as of the daylight in the early afternoon. This was a more productive day than the first time we went to leake Street as we knew more about what we were going to do this time.

Day 2 filming sky gardens

With our tickets in hand we were able to go up to our filming location at the 20 Fenchurch commercial skyscraper. Everything went according to plan and we were able to shoot our video without getting in the way, however we didn't have time to film everything due to the one hour limit. Overall the clips that we gathered were visually appealing and fun to shoot. The only bad thing about this day was that we weren't allowed to bring up all the equipment such as the tripod and shoulder mount but we are planning on using after effects to stabilize some of this footage.

We discussed where to meet in order to film and to remind each other to bring the equipment. This allowed us more time for filming as we didnt use up time waiting or not being able to film because a member forgot something.

Research and planning

Sky garden tickets

We have tickets booked for one of the location we wish to film in and this ticket is for sky garden and for obvious reasons we have had to blur the bar code and the ticket reference so no one else can take these tickets.

Day1 filming Leake Street

Our first session at the Leake Street tunnel was successful and we managed to film a lot of the scenes that we planned on doing. We also filmed some additional footage as we had the extra time, which we can use as a backup if we come across any issues as well as use some parts of it for the video. However we found that some of the footage was a bit to dark so we decided that we were going to go to leake Street again when there was more daylight.

Class meeting

Today one of our team members was not in class so we could not discuss a lot of the pre production plan. However, we do know that Spencer is the main performer as he knows thesong fluently. We discussed locations of one of the scenes we are planning, where it takes place in a therapist office, we thought it would be in college as their are offices that we could use. We will start to discuss risks with locations and storyboarding the video once he is in class.

Email permission

Mark wrote an email to the artist's (Logic) record label asking for permission to use their song for our work, this is too avoid any legal issues that using their music may create
