Teem meeting

We have all decided to start our presentation together. We have decided on the four album covers that we will be looking at and have started analysing them, meanwhile i have been working on producing the plans for the album covers, and getting advice when necessary.

So far we have this for the plans for the music video:

Class Work

In today's lesson our group was working on google slides creating our presentation and each of us were working on our own slides discussing different inspirations for CD covers etc.

Team Meeting research

In this session we looked at a few different album covers within the same genre as our music video. we have picked out a few which looks like something we could potentially do. The first cover on the top left is an actual album cover of the artist we are creating a video fro (Logic) and the other album covers are from an artist called G-Eazy.

Post Production Week 3 editing

In this week we pretty much had all the footage together and in sync and now we were working on effects as some of the footage was too dark and too bright so we adjusted the lighting through the use of the curve effects. we found that this really improved the quality of this video and also helped getting rid of any grain/bad quality footage.

Post Production Week 2 Editing

Continuing on with Premier Pro, we've taken turns on the seat to contribute with the progress of the music video. Progress has been going well and we've reached the 1min mark or thereabouts and as we planned we used other software such as After Effects for stabilization with the sky garden footage and  it has also helped enhance some of our video clips. Today most of the editing was done by Irnadas.

Post Production Week 1 Editing

This was one of our first sessions of editing and spencer done most of the editing on this day, but we are going to rotate with everyone in our group so we all get a chance to edit the footage we have collected, and so far it is going well and around this stage we have done about 20secs because we spent so much time messing around and in some cases succeeding with using effects.

Day 5 filming studio

For our final shoot, we booked a session in the studio to film for what we planned as a part of the intro of the music video. This consisted of the whole group as well as an additional of 2 others to gather round for the 'therapy meeting' with Irnadas as the interviewer and the rest of us were his clients while we recorded with the camera. It went according to plan and because of the capabilities of the studio we were able to have an advantage over the controls to fine tune the lighting to get what we visualized on. And the end of the day we found that we had used the lights of the studio to great effect and got some fantastic shots and i would say we got the best footage from this location.

Day 4 Filming National Theatre

Continuing on with our film schedules, our next location was at the National Theater where we wanted an urban setting which included some iconic landmarks around London. This included the London Eye, the London Bridge and also the theater itself as well as some of the buses going by for our time lapse. The session went well and we were able to capture our shots even though it was rather cloudy, which just adds on to the effect.
